• PENETRATION TESTING – PT
Due to their capillary effect, surface defects can be made well visible using suitable test fluid that penetrates these defects and a developer that absorbs this fluid.
Despite its simplicity, this test method requires trained personnel in order to utilise the limits of the method comprehensively. For example, fluorescent substances increase sensitivity.
